My room was simply breathtaking – it was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with all the amenities I could possibly need. I loved the cozy bed and fluffy pillows, which made for a restful night’s sleep after a long day of exploring the town and hitting the slopes.

Speaking of the slopes, the location of the St. Ivan Rilski Hotel is perfect for skiers and snowboarders. It’s just a short walk from the ski lift, which means you can hit the slopes bright and early without having to worry about transportation. Plus, the hotel offers ski storage and equipment rental, so you can easily rent everything you need for a day on the mountain.

But even if you’re not a skier, there’s plenty to do at the St. Ivan Rilski Hotel. The spa is absolutely divine – I treated myself to a relaxing massage and facial, which left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. And if you’re looking to stay active, there’s a fitness center and indoor pool available for guests to use.

I highly recommend trying the banitsa – it’s a savoury pastry that’s a staple of Bulgarian cuisine, and it’s absolutely delicious.

If you’re planning a trip to Bansko, be sure to book your stay at the St. Ivan Rilski Hotel – I promise you won’t be disappointed!
